The Imago Dei | Week 1

In this series we look at what it means to bear the image of God. How should it affect our relationship with Jesus, with ourselves, and with others.

“ Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
    - Genesis 1:26 (ESV)

The Exact Imprint | Week 2

Join us Sunday as we continue in our new series, "Image of God". This week we will be looking at the greatest example of God's image, in His son Jesus. As we will see, Jesus was sent to be the redeemer of humanity, the savior of the world, and the rescuer of humanities likenesses to God.

“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,  but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. ”
    - Hebrews 1:1-3 (ESV)

God's Image In The Samaritan | Week 3

Jesus simplified all of the laws and the prophets into two commands: Love God. Love people. This Sunday, we will be looking at how to better represent the Image of God through love of neighbor in the story of the Good Samaritan. You won't want to miss it!

“Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.”
    - Luke 10:36-37 (ESV)

Daughter of Abraham | Week 4

Join us this week as we look at another story where Jesus see's the Image of God in someone that others may not. Part of the reason Jesus commands us to take care of those on the margins of society is because people don't recognize them for their inherent value. But everyone is a child of God, both the King and the jester.

“And he said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.'"
    - Luke 8:48 (ESV)

God Uses Everyone | Week 5

Everyone has the potential to be a "likely" choice for God to use to glorify His name. We are all made in the Image of God, but it is up to us to choose if we are on God's side. He loves us, but He also gave us free will. Let us choose to be closer to Him this week.

    Paul's Conversion | Week 6

Join us this Palm Sunday as we finish up the Image of God series by looking at the incredible journey of the apostle Paul. Even our greatest enemies can learn the truth of God and turn towards Him. "‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ And I said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And the Lord said, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.' " - Luke 26:14-15 (ESV)
