In this sermon series, we will explore stories in the Bible that feature the presence of God, to ask the questions: what does this teach us about God and about ourselves? This first week, we will explore the creation accounts in Genesis 1-3.

Join us Sunday as we come together to celebrate the greatest day in history. The day that took away all of our sins and gave us the hope to be in eternal paradise with our Savior. Thank you Lord Jesus for your death and resurrection.
"‘And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. " - Luke 24:5-6a (ESV)

Join us this Palm Sunday as we finish up the Image of God series by looking at the incredible journey of the apostle Paul. Even our greatest enemies can learn the truth of God and turn towards Him. "‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ And I said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And the Lord said, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.' " - Luke 26:14-15 (ESV)

Everyone has the potential to be a "likely" choice for God to use to glorify His name. We are all made in the Image of God, but it is up to us to choose if we are on God's side. He loves us, but He also gave us free will. Let us choose to be closer to Him this week.

Join us this week as we look at another story where Jesus see's the Image of God in someone that others may not. Part of the reason Jesus commands us to take care of those on the margins of society is because people don't recognize them for their inherent value. But everyone is a child of God, both the King and the jester.
“And he said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.'"
- Luke 8:48 (ESV)

Jesus simplified all of the laws and the prophets into two commands: Love God. Love people. This Sunday, we will be looking at how to better represent the Image of God through love of neighbor in the story of the Good Samaritan. You won't want to miss it!
“Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.”
- Luke 10:36-37 (ESV)

Join us Sunday as we continue in our new series, "Image of God". This week we will be looking at the greatest example of God's image, in His son Jesus. As we will see, Jesus was sent to be the redeemer of humanity, the savior of the world, and the rescuer of humanities likenesses to God.
“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. ”
- Hebrews 1:1-3 (ESV)

In this series we look at what it means to bear the image of God. How should it affect our relationship with Jesus, with ourselves, and with others.
“ Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- Genesis 1:26 (ESV)

This Sunday is our final morning in Fruit of the Spirit. We hope that it has been an enriching and encouraging time. When we offer up ourselves to God, He fills us with the amazing qualities of the Holy Spirit. We will be finishing the series with self-control. “ for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
- 2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV)

This week we will be looking at the Fruit of gentleness. Join us as we dive into what Paul wants to teach us about being gentle in our walk with God and with others. “Brothers and sisters, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore them in a spirit of gentleness” - Galatians 6:1 (ESV)

Join us Sunday as we look at the fruit of Faithfulness. We can be confident in our walk because of God's faithfulness. He is a God that we can trust, who has made promises that he kept and will continue to keep. It is in this reliability of God where we can walk strong and encouraged in our every day lives. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” - Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)

Join us this Sunday as we look at our next fruit of the Spirit, goodness. This may feel like an obvious part of our faith, but being able to grow in our goodness is a crucial part of our walk with God. To show to God, and others, that we treasure Christ, we ought to try to do good.
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good”
- Romans 12:21 (ESV)

This week we take a look at our next fruit of the Spirit, kindness. As God first showed us, may we demonstrate that same Spirit led kindness in our own lives.
“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
-Ephesians 4:31-32 (ESV)

This week we look at patience. Some people will say , "too much of anything is bad". And although that may be true for many things, it is hard to imagine that too much patience could ever be bad.
“Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city.”
- Proverbs 16:32 (NIV)

What are the signs of growth as a Christian? We loo at the various qualities that result from a transformative life in Christ.
